Our feet may not enjoy the summer as much as we do as they usually take a hit. Whether you’re hiking on the mountains, strolling in the city or walking in flip-flops at the beach, our feet can suffer. What if we gave them some “me time”? Here are my tips:

 
Step 1: BATH

You will need…

a bowl
sliced lemon
1 teaspoon of lavender essential oil

 Pour warm water into the bowl, add the lemon slices, then add the essential oil of lavender. You just have to soak your feet for 10-15 minutes.

 Lavender essential oil has the property to regenerate and heal the skin, soothe the nervous system and is mostly a muscle relaxant.

 
Step 2: PEDICURE

You will need…

a brush
a foot rasp
a cuticle pusher
a cuticle nipper
a nail file

 Once your feet are softened by the foot bath, brush them to remove all impurities. Sand down your heels and your soles with the foot rasp, this will remove excess skin. For you toenails, first push back the cuticles with the cuticle pusher. Remove the cuticles with the cuticle nipper then grind at your convenience.

 
Step 3: SCRUB

You will need…

a bowl
2 tablespoons of coarse salt
2 tablespoons of honey

 Mix salt and honey in a bowl then apply it all over your feet and rub with your hands and wash. You will have the softest feet…

 
Step 4: MASSAGE

You will need…

moisturizer
soft hands :)

 Your feet are now clean and soft. You just have to give them a little massage with a moisturizer, I use the one from Mixa.

 
There you go… This is how to have pretty feet in great shape. Believe me they will say thank you!!
